The FreeWheel is attaches quickly and easily to the front of your manual wheelchair. It's designed to lift the castor wheels off of the ground, making it easier to tackle grassy fields, snowy or uneven roads and paths, hiking trails, forest tracks and even cobbles.
The FreeWheel is made from strong aircraft quality aluminium, and features a simple clamp design. The large 12" front wheel gives smooth ride over rough surfaces and when not in use, you're able to attach the FreeWheel to the back of your chair with the included ´perch´ attachment (custom perch clamps available for oval/oversized tubes).
This FreeWheel is designed for rigid frame chairs, there is a folding frame adaptor available here.
