Active Height is a powered seat elevator system from Permobil. It raises the seat up to 350mm, or, 14" to a height that offers many functional and psycho social benefits.

Unlike most powerchairs, the Active Height system on Permobil's powerchairs does not lock out the suspension - so, you maitain suspension at any elevation.

As the seat elevates, it shifts rearwards by 90mm to maintain stability and reduce the overall footprint of the chair, which allows you to get closer to objects. The speed of the chait is reduced to 5 km/h whilst elevated, which is around walking pace.

Powered seat tilt is required in order to activate the Active Height seat elevator on Corpus powerchairs.
